Boilers Secure #1 Spot in Big Ten

Saturday night's game was an emotional one. The Men's Boilermakers led the Wisconsin Badgers the entire game at the Kohl Center in WI. So few teams have beaten Bo Ryan's team there, and Purdue showed them how it's done. Freshman Robbie Hummel was a big part of the scoring drive by the Boilermakers in the first half. Final score was 72-67. Such a victory means the Boilermakers are now on top of the Bug Ten alone. The team was welcomed back to Purdue at the airport by members of the Paint Crew student section and various musicians that formed a pep band. Tuesday the Boilers go up against MSU at home at 7 pm EST.
